Pet-friendly
If you're coming to Kangaroo Valley for kangaroos, this is the place to be!
Tullawalla comprises more than 100 acres of farmland, gardens and glorious eucalypt and rainforest, stretching up into the escarpment where it joins Morton National Park. The property is a wildlife haven - with roos, wombats, echidnas and a fabulous array of native birds.
The farmhouse is full of character. The living and dining area are open plan, and the kitchen is a good size for preparing meals together.
In summer, take your meals outside under the trees, hangout in the hammock or paddle in King's Creek, which runs through the property. Beautiful Beehive Point and Bendeela are close by for a swim or kayak.
In winter get toasty in front of the fireplace, snuggle up for Netflix in the loft or hit the sauna to get a serious sweat on! If you want to get more active, walk to the top paddock for magnificent views across the valley. Say hi to our horses while you're there (sorry, no riding), and follow the roo tracks through the gullies on the way back down.
Enjoy fresh fruit from the orchard and fresh eggs each morning, straight from the chook house!
Hot tip - plan your stay to coincide with a full moon. It's something else!

FARM DETAILS
The home consists of three bedrooms sleeping 6 guests (2 queen beds, 2 singles).
The property is not on town water and uses a septic system. We ask guests to refrain from using harsh chemicals in the kitchen or bathroom, and be mindful of what goes down the sink.
As there is no waste collection service, guests need to take all trash and recycling with them when they leave. The cost of taking any waste left behind to the tip will be deducted from the bond.
We are pet friendly for animals that won't threaten our farm animals or wildlife, eg well-trained and restrained dogs. Unfortunately no cats - they are too dangerous for our birds and reptiles.

We are a couple from Sydney who fell in love with Kangaroo Valley a few years ago. We found Tullawalla, our dream home, soon after. We currently move between Sydney and the Valley, but the Valley is our home. We are happy to share it's beauty.

These are the exclusive natural wonders and outdoor activities within the property boundaries.
Roos Loose In The Top Paddock
Kangaroos and wallabies abound on Tullawalla and neighbouring properties. A large mob congregates at the top of the back paddock in the afternoons, and you'll often see individuals and smaller groups hanging out close to the house, nibbling on the lawn or just lazing about it the sun.
For The Birds
Tullawalla is a dream for birdwatchers. We have a variety of parrots, galahs, cockatoos, bower birds and wild ducks that visit the house everyday, and a family of lyrebirds living down near the creek. For more intensive birdwatching, head down to the creek or up into the forest.
Hiking On The Property
About one-third of Tullawalla is forrested, merging with Morton National Park. The area used to be logged for timber but the trails are difficult to discern these days. It's beautiful, but rugged. So take solid shoes and preferably a companion. Begin your journey through the gate in the top paddock.
Homesteading
Our growing farm includes horses, chooks, beehives, garlic, and small citrus and stone fruit orchards. Say hi to the horses, collect fresh eggs for your breaky from the chook-house each morning, and help yourself to whatever fruit is in season at the time of your visit.
