Miles Away Beach Shack

Located a stones throw away from the river, beach and the town centre. Surfing, fishing, golf, yoga, shopping, restaurants and cafe’s all within walking distance.

The shacks humble mid century design of open plan living and floor to ceiling windows along the entire frontage of the house welcomes in beautiful natural light making the house feel open, bright and inviting.

Our relaxed space has been lovingly renovated and restored back to its former glory with fresh white wash floor boards and a carefully curated mix of old and new furniture and décor throughout.

It’s ideal for a romantic getaway, a girls weekend away or a small family beachside mini break. Due to the delicate nature of some of the styling pieces this stay may not be suitable for toddler aged children.

Our shack features two spacious bedrooms accommodating a total of 4 guests. The first bedroom with a king size bed and the second bedroom with a queen, both beds fitted out with luxurious French linen and quality bedding. There is also twin chairs located in the second bedroom for a quiet spot to sit and read a book or to unwind away from the main living area.

The kitchen is small but has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable with all new appliances.

A natural born bower bird at heart, I have curated the shack with found and foraged objects such as shells, feathers and other natural treasures, to sit along side beautiful and carefully selected vintage furniture, art and books.

Guests have full access to the entire property.

We have two large decks to enjoy, one at the front of the house so you can enjoy the morning sun and sit back and watch the world go by, or a more private deck out the back in the enclosed yard for more private enjoyment.

Other things to note:

⚫️ Miles Away Shack is located on Wallington Road, you are right amongst it with Ocean Groves main beach just minutes away. We are also located a couple of doors up from a very popular cafe. With this in mind some road noise should be expected throughout the day, however of a late afternoon and evening things quiet down and the area is very peaceful and quiet.

⚫️ Strictly no parties or group gatherings, we also request that noise be restricted by 10pm. Noise in the area can travel and we like and respect our neighbours and do not wish to disturb their peace.

⚫️ We supply luxurious towels and bedding for our guest to use within the house during their stay, however these items are NOT to leave the house. Please BYO your own beach towels.

⚫️ There is parking on the premises with a carport, however there is also plenty of free on street parking.
