Our beach home is situated on the Esplanade in Portarlington with views of the city, bay and You Yang Ranges. Relax and unwind and watch the sunrise over the bay each morning.

The surrounding area will provide many things to do for all ages wine, golf, water sports and beaches.
Only a 1.45hr drive from Melbourne. Wifi, Nespresso coffee and wood fire!

If you need to sleep 10 there is a king bed and small bathroom available extra charges apply.

BEACH HOUSE DETAILS
With the house North facing we have recently finished building a humongous patio and pergola for you to enjoy the views in comfort. In the winter the best room in the house is the lounge room with wood fire and views of the bay and city. There is loads of grass and space for the little ones or sunbaking.

In the surrounding areas of Portarlington there are many wineries, golf courses and beaches to enjoy! In the summer months the kids will love a day at Adventure Park!

We stayed at bellarine beach shack for two nights we found our experience very good the views of the city were amazing very comfortable dog friendly with all the essentials you need when your away would recommend this property to anybody.

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay at the end of winter. The fireplace was perfect with plenty of firewood supplied. Amy was super accommodating, even giving us an early check in and a late check ...out. We enjoyed meals at Bellarine Estate, Portarlington Hotel and lovely Indian takeaway from Hello Foodie.

Queenscliff To Point Lonsdale Walking Trail

The 'quality of life' trail is a walking, running and cycling track connecting the towns Queenscliff to Point Lonsdale. The largely flat 5.5 kilometre distance between the two towns makes the trail a return journey of 11kms. If you are starting from Queenscliff, the trail begins near the foreshore, close to the railway station. It winds around Swan Bay, giving good views over the Bay and surrounding farmlands.

If you're looking to witness the ocean's vast shoreline, look no further than the Point Lonsdale lighthouse! We strolled a few km's along the shoreline, simply enjoying Point Lonsdale's beautiful flora and fauna and absorbing the sun's rays. The perfect stroll if you're looking to unwind and disconnect from Melbourne's hustle and bustle for the afternoon.

Port Phillip Ferry Ride

For this adventure I thought I would explore a different way of getting to our accommodation, and the ferry from docklands to portarlington made perfect sense. It was a joy to sit and feel the breeze on the back deck for the hour journey rather than trudge down the freeway through Geelong. Taking a bike on board to get around at the other end was a gamechanger and something I'll be doing again.
