YOKO Cabin is the ultimate weekender for those looking to enjoy a beautifully designed Japanese/Nordic influenced small cabin on the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula.
It has impeccable finishes throughout, including luxurious linen, Aesop soaps, underfloor heating in the bathroom, a Scandinavian wood heater and a fully equipped kitchen.
There is a Framed Smart TV, with all your streaming services, so you can rug up by the fire and enjoy cosy nights in.

On the rear deck there is outdoor dining for 4, and a bbq and also a European laundry.

There is a newly planted coastal garden, with a fire pit area (photos available soon) and a small sitting area in the front of the property, to enjoy the afternoon sun.

The place is decorated in such a beautiful way. Absolutely loved the privacy of the property and the gorgeous backyard. The shower was also a highlight, absolutely stunning.

Ultimately the stay at YOKO was very comfortable and cozy, we especially loved the living room with the comfy couch, fire and moody lighting. Bedroom linen was cosy and comfy. Think it could do with... a bit of a deeper clean in the shower, and a bench to put our suitcase on in the bedroom, but overall a quite and comfortable stay.

Such a beautiful stay. Great location, 6 mins drive from Alba hot springs & the beach. Rich was great at communication & ensured we had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Extra luxurious & generous... / thoughtful touches were noted like fluffy towels, soft linen sheets, bottle of wine, milk, tea & little touches that meant we didn’t have to pop to the shops unnecessarily. Would definitely return. Thank you Rich!

We stopped off at one of the many piers along the bay in Sorrento to reset, unwind and drop our feet in the ocean. You can't go wrong for a relaxed walk along any of these beaches down this way.

The closest surf beach is about 1.5kms from YOKO Cabin. There is plenty of great spots dotted all the way down the coast. Generally for experienced surfers only.

St Andrews Beach is a tiny coastal village nestled among the sand dunes facing the wild waters of Bass Strait. Explore this wild coastline that forms part of a 35km continuous stretch of beach from Cape Schanck to Portsea.

Lunch At Sorrento Beach

After going on a hike at Port Nepean we were ravenous, so decided to check out the local strip of shops to see what they had to offer. We stumbled across a quaint little bakery called "Baked in Sorrento", grabbed a couple of fresh pies, a vanilla slice, couple of orange juices and made our way over to the other side of the bay to check out the Sorrento Back Beach.
