Our unique lake cabin is undoubtably the most secluded and best accommodation on the upper reaches of lake Tyers.located in the Nowa Nowa the cabin is nestled in the bush overlooking lake Tyers, if you want to relax amongst nature and wildlife this is the place for you. You can paddle down the lake on a kayak or stand up paddle board, try your luck fishing of our private jetty for the famous lake Tyers metre flathead.

CABIN DETAILS

Self contained cabin. We recommend bringing your groceries with you. The Nowa Nowa general store offers basic groceries. The nearest supermarket is a 25 minute drive. We are approx. 6km from the Nowa Nowa town centre.
They have great coffee and groceries at the general store.
You will probably see an antechinus and black rock skink inside during your stay.
If you are riding the rail trail our property is approximately 3 km off the trail.

We had such a lovely relaxing time at the cabin. Beautiful view, cosy cabin and very generous fresh eggs and herbs left for us by the owners. Will definitely be back!

Incredible location, house, and hospitality from Billy and his family. The house is charming and clean. Everything you need for a couple or a small family getaway. Lots of complementary equipment including kayaks, SAPs, pool toys and many more. Would love to come back asap.

Rainforest Walk

An easy walk in the Lake Tyers State Park, through bushland down to a dark and green rainforest area.

Surfing

Red Bluff is a very popular location with local surfers. It is a small rocky headland that seems to heighten the surf and can provide a good opportunity to catch a wave. Be aware however that the area is unpatrolled and carries a degree of risk even for experienced surfers.
