PET POLICY

We permit a maximum of two dogs. (Well behaved elderly cats welcome too)
Dogs will need to be either on a leash or (off leash) fully supervised at all times as there are alpacas in the back paddock.
We politely ask you to keep your dog off the bed and furniture.
We provide a water bowl.
Owners are required to bring their own dog beds and dog towels.
Pets must not be left alone in the unit.
There are plenty of grassy areas suitable for your pet to do their business, please ensure that you clean up all doggy doos with the bags provided in the pet basket and dispose of into the outdoor bin.
Please report any accidents so I can ensure they are cleaned up properly and do not encourage future guest's dogs to pee there.
We also have a reserve behind our paddock which is accessible via Rhinds rd and you can walk there.
There are several dog friendly beaches, cafes and walking tracks around the Bellarine.
Wallington nature reserve nearby has a picnic/Bbq area and a bushwalking track. Beautiful Ocean Grove beach a further 3kms away.

Our stay at "A Suite Escape" was everything we hoped for and more. It was both cosy and spacious at the same time. Being pet friendly was a huge bonus for us, as Mr Pickles felt right at home there. W...e absolutely loved feeding the alpacas and collecting fresh chicken eggs. It is also located in such a great spot, with shops and cafes very close by, while still feeling like you aren't in suburbia which was great to reset and enjoy some slowness.
The attention to small details was felt, as simple things like shower loofahs, pet treats, fresh bread and a lovely bottle of red were all supplied and enjoyed!

We had such a great time during our stay and would highly recommend!

Clean, well designed and fitted out room for two. Location gave us great access of the Bellarine. Quiet location and great if you want to explore or stay in.

Loved our few nights away at A Suite Escape. The place was spotless and had everything you could need. Brought our little dog with us and there’s a great backyard with chickens and Alpacas to say hell...o to. The wine and sourdough were a lovely touch. We love the Bellarine, and this location was perfectly central to everything.

Macho and Bobo are the resident Alpacas, and they are super friendly especially if you have food for them! We had so much fun getting outside and connecting with these beautiful animals, there's something about feeding alpacas that puts a massive smile on your face. We also collected some fresh eggs from the local chooks, this was actually a first for me! And yes, they were delicious.

Sometimes you don't need to travel anywhere far or spectacular to enjoy an amazing sunset, and this is one of those examples. The whole farm glowed a bright orange

Ket baker is one of those spots you go home and tell everyone about. Great coffee, INSANE pastries, all situated on a farm with a roaming peacock, a family of ducks, chickens and more - it really has it all.

Bike Riding

The Bellarine Rail Trail is 35kms long (one way). The bike path guides cyclists through the Bellarine Peninsula, joining the regions favourite attractions. From coastal views to bush settings, you will experience the diverse landscape which makes the Bellarine so unique.

Close to our stay, we found Farmer's Harvest, a farm gate grocery store. Grab some fresh fruit or veg. We bought a whole watermelon to snack on later.

We checked out this beautiful and iconic Australian bush trail very close to the hosts' property in Wallington.

High Cheese Ciders

Flying Brick Cider is a bistro serving modern pub fare with a great eye for detail, fresh ingredients and cosy atmosphere; they also have an incredible high cheese special that includes a three-tiered cheese stand with baked treats, lavosh, breadsticks and a variety of hard and soft cheeses.

This Italian restaurant is a little hidden out of town, but well worth the drive (it's really close to Ocean Grove and Wallington). It is one of those hidden gems that you need to seek out, and boy is it worth it! The food and drinks were amazing, definitely not what we expected to find out this way! And being dog friendly, our hearts were won over pretty quickly.
