We had the most wonderful stay at Kauaeranga Vista and couldn't recommend it more highly.
From the moment we arrived, Karyn made us feel incredibly welcome. She is such a warm, kind, and accom...modating host, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Her genuine hospitality made our stay feel so personal and relaxing.
The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful, nestled amongst the peaceful hills of the Kauaeranga Valley. Waking up surrounded by nature, with birdsong, grazing animals, and stunning countryside views, was exactly what we needed to slow down and reconnect. It truly is a little slice of paradise.
Karyn also went above and beyond with thoughtful touches throughout our stay, including delicious fresh baking that made us feel right at home. Every detail has clearly been carefully considered, creating a space that is both cosy and luxurious.
If you're looking for a peaceful escape to unwind, reconnect with nature, and experience genuine Kiwi hospitality, Kauaeranga Vista is the perfect place. We'll definitely be back.

This was a lovely spot to spend the weekend away. Very peaceful and beautiful. There were lambs around as well! Karyn was a great host, she showed us round her property and provided fresh baked bread. Couldn’t recommend more!

My husband and I had an amazing long weekend stay at the Tui Sunset Cabin. Karyn was a wonderful host, as were Cleo and Sheiba, who greeted us upon arrival. The cabin was cosy, the amenities sufficient for a stay away from it all. Thank you again.

Fish Chips At The Wharf
This dinner spot had views of the Kauaeranga River, delicious food and friendly staff. Better yet, it was pup friendly, the most wholesome way to spend the evening.
Grahamstown Markets
From quirky pottery, new plants and home baking, these markets are the perfect Saturday morning activity!
Karangahake Gorge
Take in the stunning scenery as you drive through the breathtaking Karangahake Gorge but make sure you also park the car and explore the walkways and old tunnels, to discover the rich history hidden in the deep valleys. A popular bike trail is the Hauraki Rail Trail - one of the most stunning stretches of river in the country.
Coastline Cruise To Brunch
Cruise along the breathtaking coastline and soak in the views! On our drive back we stopped at Te Kouma Beach and dug our toes into the golden sand whilst our pup played in the waves.
