We visited Rua Awa Lodge for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was such a lovely stay. We loved how peaceful it was, you can hear the birds and cows nearby its heaven. We fire inside was so great,... it made it so cosy. Sheryl offers catering options which is either locally made or made herself - we ordered the cheese board, bread, oil and dip (the bread was to die for!) and the fruit crumble absolutely delicious, thank you!

What an incredible stay! Rua Awa lodge was cozy and comfortable. With so many special touches like the outdoor shower. The space was incredibly relaxing and we loved the walk down to the river. We esp...ecially enjoyed the delicious lasagne made for our dinner and the breakfast options were delicious. We really felt like ot was incredible value for money. Would absolutely recommend this place for a holiday in nature that feels like a home away from home.
