Additional Information
Gather the family or your one true love and get ready to fall head over heels for Daisy Hill Lodge.
This great escape is set in one of the most gorgeous pockets of Victoria’s High Country. It’s right by the shores of Lake Eildon with all its renowned summer playground activities and is a perfect winter base for day trips to the nearby snow at Mt Buller and Mt Stirling.
There are incredible, magical, panoramic views of the water and the surrounding rolling green foothills of the Great Dividing Range and jaw-dropping sunsets to enjoy with a beer or some bubbles from the outdoor fire pit at the top of the property.
Did we mention the serenity?! On a picturesque 10 hectares planted with beautifully maintained gardens, Daisy Hill Lodge is a stone’s throw from the Great Victorian Rail Trail, Australia’s longest off-road cycle path, where it crosses the Bonnie Doon Bridge as well as the much-loved local pub with its great food, beer garden, and family-friendly vibes.
Of the three lodges, the smallest is a super-cute, super romantic little one-bedroom Boathouse, in a secluded setting and with its own private jetty kitted out with a picnic table, umbrella, and a rowboat for languid paddles on warm sunny days.
The other lodges are perfect for family or friend gatherings and offer three or two bedrooms and can be booked together or separately. Across the three lodges, up to 16 can be accommodated. Each is fully equipped with all the necessities for a cosy, comfortable and relaxed holiday in the country including wood fires, and in the biggest lodge, a sensational games room, and bar.
