Smiths Lake Palm House is available for holiday accommodation. In a quiet cul-de-sac next door to the Palm Farm and the Surfstables, this big property is in a private location. Set on a full acre this 4 bedroom house has a pool, large outdoor entertaining area, fire pit, braai and large grassed areas for outdoor activities.

Just a 10-minute drive from beaches of Blueys, Celitos, and Boomerang and a 30-minute drive to Seal Rocks. It is within walking distance to the Bowling Club and Skate Park. Enjoy the local bush walks and surfing beaches. Port-a-cot, and swags are available on request.

Large Entertaining area with Outdoor Braai and Patio, Weber bbq, and outdoor dining around a fenced-off pool. Plenty of space to unwind and relax with a lounge and TV with DVD, Foxtel, and plenty of kids activities. Unlimited Wifi too.

It's a private location. We have a retired family 2 doors down and holiday accommodation is next door at the Surfstables and the Palm Farm. These can also be rented if there are large groups. The neighbours have 3 friendly dogs and pets are most welcome with plenty of room for them to run around. It is a great location for your family pet to also holiday.

There is a Public Bus stop 750m away with services running to and from Newcastle. Mainly guests will drive to locations such as Charlotte Bay, Blueys, and Boomerang Beach and walk to the Bowlo and the skate park. The main town of Forster is 30mins north.

The main bedroom is a king (2 x king singles joined) One medium with an electric bed the other extra plush) Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. Bedroom 3 has a double bed. Bedroom 4 has a single bunk bed with a trundle. The room can sleep 3 if required. All mattresses are new and amazingly comfy.

The house has two bathrooms. Both bathrooms have showers and one has a bath. Please note that the bath is a spa bath tub. We recommend bringing a baby bath for infants or using a tub in laundry.

The dining room table sits 4 guests. There are two of these so can accomodate more if joined together. They are built using cedar so they can be moved in and outside for dining. We can provide a foldaway table with seats for children or adults if required.

Professional Linen hire is included in the rental price.
If you require a change over of linen for longer stays, there will be an additional charge if guests request a linen change.

Linen includes all bed sheets sets, bath towels, hand towels, and bath mats. Beach towels not included - guests must bring their own beach towels.

No parties, schoolies, toolies, or doolies, just good times.

Palm House is absolute heaven. The perfect getaway for some self love surrounded by bush, wildlife, starry skies, and pristine beaches. Sauna while bird watching has to be the best invention! The hou...se contains everything you need. Beds are so comfy.
Mick, Esti and family are amazing hosts,

Beautiful little stay for our family, well presented, gorgeous space, close to all the wonderful beaches in the area and great pool and cabana that the kids (and mum & dad) loved! Mick is a great host and we will definitely be back for longer.

The host of the Rammed Earth Studio is Megan, a qualified permaculture teacher and someone who has been living a sustainable, organic lifestyle for years. We decided to do the 'Edible Gardens Tour' to get an understanding of the permaculture system, and what it would be like to run a small-scale "urban" farm, while working and raising kids. Needless to say, we were impressed! Megan takes you through her whole setup, from veggies to chickens, to woodfired pizza ovens, to building techniques for the house itself. You'll even get to nibble on some of the fresh produce at the end of the tour. Highly recommended.

Climbing The Headland At Cellito

This headland is nothing short of incredible. The jagged rocks sticking out of the headland look like something out of a movie scene! The beach itself is stunning with a rainforest walk to enter onto the beach, clear water and the headland for some awesome views. If you keep climbing around the headland and aren't too scared of heights, there's a great spot to sit and dangle your legs out over a huge cliff drop into the ocean! Well worth doing.

The beaches to the north of Seal Rocks are protected from the strongest of southerlies and we managed an afternoon paddle at Number One Beach. Waves were only small but perfectly clean and we took comfort in the knowledge that everywhere else would have been blown out. It's a beautiful afternoon spot with high cliffs, clear water and sensational light.
