The gumtree-lined driveway to Tiny on Top was picturesque in itself. With the windows down, we leaned out to breathe in the eucalyptus-scented air and marvel at the towering trees. Pulling up to the not so tiny, tiny house, our jaws dropped as we took in the sweeping view from the expansive deck — what a special place.

Tiny on Top feels incredibly spacious and is so beautifully appointed. A full-sized kitchen, two cosy lounge areas, a super-comfy bed with sky light, and all the luxe touches that only thoughtful hosts provide. We put together a charcuterie board, mixed a cocktail, and settled in for an afternoon of music, hot-tubbing, fire pit lounging, and soaking up the views.

The next morning, after a big brekky cook-up, we set off to explore the Promised Lands. We spent hours lying on sun-warmed rocks, climbing trees, and wandering through what truly feels like a fairy-tale wonderland. Later, we wandered around Bellingen — quickly deciding we could absolutely live here one day — and finished the evening with a seriously scrumptious Mediterranean feast at Bruno’s.

I can’t recommend Tiny on Top highly enough as the perfect base to explore Bellingen and Gleniffer.
