A cosy and quiet cabin tucked amongst the trees, providing a relaxing, shady and green outlook. Situated on a hill at +700 metres, the cabin is located on a 5-acre property, surrounded by farms and bush land and is a haven for native birds and wildlife.

The sunny self-contained cabin is comfortably set up. There's an open plan living area with a slow combustion wood heater, a split system for heating and cooling and a simple kitchen. With 2 bedrooms the cabin is suitable for 2 couples or a family. The main bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and a single bed and there's a bathroom and washing machine.

The cabin is located close by to the main house on the property, however it is surrounded by trees and native bushes so there is plenty of privacy. Guests are also welcome to wonder the property to explore the local flora and fauna.

Sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet, listen to the wildlife, catch up on some reading, get out and explore the extensive trails in the area on bike or foot or visit a nearby farm gate for local produce. Stanley Pub is less than 1km from the property. The cabin is located less than 10 minute drive from Beechworth....

A couple of things to note:

As there is a diverse array of animal and birdlife around the cabin, we do not allow guests to bring dogs.

Please no smoking in the cabin.

We'd greatly appreciate it if you'd refrain from wearing shoes in the cabin. There are 2 pairs of adult gumboots available for your use.

There is wireless internet in the cabin. There is no television.

When you book for 2 guests you book 1 x Queen Bedroom. If you wish to use 2 bedrooms you need to book for more than 2 people.

The fireplace is set for you and initial firewood is provided.

Linen and towels are provided for the number of guests booked.

Inside the cabin, there's some local maps and ideas on places and things to explore in the area.

Bring your favourite people, bike and hiking shoes, hat and sunscreen in summer, gumboots and coats in winter or that book that you've been trying to find time to read.

The town of Bright is also 45 minutes away. Mount Buffalo, perfect for day trips to the snow or exploring waterfalls, is a little over an hour away, while Falls Creek and Mount Hotham take around 2 hours to reach....
