Where to start... put simply, Anchored Currarong was absolutely perfect! We booked for a weekend getaway and it was one of the best trips we've ever had. Nestled in a quite community, a short walk fro...m the beach and all the best nature has to offer - we felt like we had a perfect strip of paradise all to ourselves.
The home itself is even better than the photos. All the creature comforts, with subtle luxury and a personal touch that turned our getaway into something special. It could've been our very own holiday home, and it certainly felt like it.
Sandra was the most relaxed yet attentive host and made everything seamlessly straightforward for our stay. One of those interactions where while you never come face-to-face you still feel like friends.
Our experience couldn't have been better and really, we're just hanging out for the next opportunity to stay again. If a quiet, intimate holiday is what you're after, you won't go wrong here. As many stars as we can possibly give.

Stayed at Anchored Currarong with my partner for the weekend and had the most amazing time! The house is absolutely stunning and in a great location, will definitely be back!

Wouldn't want to live anywhere else! Always available to answer all your questions but give you the space you need to have a relaxing time. Can recommend plenty of things to do if interested.

A great, local watering hole in Currarong. Beer garden allows dog's on leash.
Coffee At Almas Kombi Cafe
Lovely, local cafe served out of the back of an old-school Kombi.
Swim At Abrahams Bosom Beach
After an hour or two of hiking, jump in the ocean at Abrahams Bosom Beach. There's no better way to freshen up.
Wreck Walk
Easy trail starting at Abrahams Bosom Reserve, take the Wreck Walk to see SS Merimbula.
Hike To Mermaid Inlet
Beecroft Peninsula, just South of Culburra Beach, is the perfect location for coastal walks. A half hour hike along the Northern shoreline leads you to Mermaid Inlet where you can enjoy ocean views from the cliffs and crawl through Gosangs Tunnel if you don't mind the squeeze.
Sunrise At Warrain Beach
Get up early to watch the sunrise over the ocean. You might even have the whole beach to yourselves!
