There is a firewood shed that is stocked and ready for your fireside chats, and please be kind to the amount you utilize.

It is best to download your favorite shows, movies, and music to your mobile devices prior to your arrival. We also utilize the same satellite system for our landline phone (which is shared between cabins) and for you to connect your cell phone for Wi-Fi calling and texting. There are occasional power and satellite disruptions from inclement weather. The nearest payphone is the Verlot store 2 miles away. We will do our best to help restore services should you experience any outages.

Your Security deposit is at risk if you fail to follow this rule. We ask that you please use good judgment when deciding whether to bring your dog. The house and furnishings are in really good condition and we want them to stay this way. Also, because we are in the mountains, our area is home to so much wildlife, dogs must be kept on leash or under voice control while at the river.**

The past guests have enjoyed the privacy with hardly a notice of the other guests in that cabin. There are multiple fire pits for your private use and shared beach access to the River. Access to trails at Verlot campground and Heather Creek is just a short walk. Great spot for tubing and swimming :)

The queen bed has a 3" memory foam topper that can be removed at your request if you prefer a firmer mattress.

CHECK-IN is after 4 PM, and please do not show up early, as it makes it hard on our cleaners to get the home ready. CHECK-OUT is before 10 AM, and no late checkouts are allowed. Please only use 1 sling or bundle of firewood. Please do not move furniture. Please observe quiet time from 8 PM to 8 AM as other guests and neighbors enjoy the peace as well. Hello happy travelers! We are Owen and Kristin, and we love our job of creating magical retreats for our guests to stay and relax in. Owen is a former contractor and I am an Alaska Airlines flight attendant, and both are real estate brokers. We pride ourselves on creating a rewarding experience for all of our guests. We buy (or help our clients buy) unique properties all around the PNW. We then remodel these homes to chic faux-rustic design. All the way through sourcing furniture and stocking shelves the process goes on. We love family, skiing, hiking, traveling, gardening, photography and searching for new properties to renovate. Our adventure started 4 years ago as house flippers and helping our clients do the same. Things took a turn when we completed our 3 cabin remodels. The plan was to finish and sell them so we could roll into other flips, but the night before listing, while sitting around the campfire, we decided to roll the dice and keep the cabins and turn them into Vacation Rentals. That single decision has completely changed our lives and business plan. Owen and Kristin
