My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the activities they had on offer onsite - was a very romantic and peaceful weekend among nature. Our highlights were enjoying the bathtub during su...nset and then an awesome walk to see the glow worms.
We also had the grazing platter on arrival which was wonderful and a great way to start to our stay.

The walk winds through native bush before opening up to sweeping views across the surrounding farmland and valleys. These stunning waterfalls are easily accessed from the main road on the way through the Karangahake gorge. Even in the drizzle, the falls were stunning and the lack of crowds made for a beautiful private spectacle.

A popular bike trail is the Hauraki Rail Trail - one of the most stunning stretches of river in the country.

The town itself has a laid-back holiday feel, with great cafés and plenty of spots to sit and watch the ocean roll in. It’s a great little adventure for a day trip before returning to the peaceful quiet of the property
