We loved our two nights away. So close to Melbourne but such a beautiful little country town. The cabin was as described and the views were amazing. Half way along the Rokeby to Neerim bike trail. Check in was easy and Julie had lots of recommendations for the local area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Vivere Retreat studio.
The studio was clean, inviting and has everything needed, especially kitchen wise. The spa bath was lovely, especially after being out exploring ...all day.
The mountain views from the studio are amazing. The hosts, Julie and Rob are both super friendly and helpful, giving us reccomendations on where to visit in and around the area.
Due to there being a fire ban for the 5 days we were there, we did not use the outdoor firepit. However we still had an amazing stay.
Thank you for a amazing stay, Julie and Rob.
Will definitely stay again if we are visiting the area again.
Highly recommended.

Hello, my name is Julie. I have been very happily married to my husband Rob for 28 years. We have 3 grown up children. We enjoy all things outdoor including hiking, gardening etc. We also are avid foodies and love nothing better than to create beautiful food for our family and friends and share it with beautiful wines. We love to meet new people from all over Australia and the world. We have travelled extensively and we have also lived overseas twice, in Beijing and in Michigan, USA. We pride ourselves on our friendly and outgoing personalities and our ability to make people happy and cared for. We absolutely adore where we live and wish to share our small piece of paradise with our guests.

The Jindi Caf

The Jindi Caf

Carl gave us what turned out to be a great recommendation - an antique style cafe with plenty of personality. Iced coffees and scones was a great call.
Apex Picnic Area & Lookout

Apex Picnic Area Lookout

We spotted the lookout earlier in the day - it was only nine minutes from home and we thought it could be a great option for the iconic duo: Sunset and Red wine. The sky lit up over the valley and it was a doozy!

Ada Tree Rainforest Walk

This walk leads you through myrtle beech rainforest to the beautiful Ada Tree. Admire this giant mountain ash that is one of Victoria's largest trees. The Ada Tree is at least 300 years old, 76 metres tall with a circumference of 15 metres. The walk is 3.2km return.
