Amazing 2 nights at the Retreat!
Perfect place to rewind with family or friends.
Julie was kind enough to provide with detailed check in instructions and tips for the trip.
We visited the Alpine trout farm and enjoyed a good drive to the Redwood Forest in Warburton.
Would highly recommend :)

What a stunning place! Absolutely breathtaking views from every room and living area. One of the best places to reset and unwind. A few km away from beautiful waterfalls, trestle bridge and historic p...laces around. Very well maintained house with great hospitality. The owner is really nice. Our kids loved the sheep and alpacas in the backyard and had named some of them. The goodbyes were hard for them. We would definitely visit this place again.

Apex Picnic Area Lookout
We spotted the lookout earlier in the day - it was only nine minutes from home and we thought it could be a great option for the iconic duo: Sunset and Red wine. The sky lit up over the valley and it was a doozy!
Charlis Lookout
We decided to briefly stop at Little Charli’s lookout. We spotted this cute picnic area on the way back to our accomodation which offers views of the Tarago Reservoir and the mountains.
Brandy Creek Estate
This beautifully rustic and light-filled winery blew our minds with a super tasty Spanish tapas feast and a deep glass of Syrah. A nice atmosphere that brought back a bit of Europe to us.
Alpine Trout Farm
After seeing so many fishermen around the area, we decided to quench the thirst and headed to the Alpine Trout Farm. Being a farm we thought it would be a piece of cake but it wasn’t for some (the boys). We eventually walked away with enough for dinner!
Noojee Trestle Bridge
Set in a beautiful tall forest, the majestic Noojee Trestle Bridge is the tallest surviving wooden trestle bridge in Victoria. With the ability to walk under and on the bridge in the lush forest with a beautiful creek underneath, this was the perfect way to start our adventure off the grid.
Noojee Trestle Bridge Walk
Surrounded by towering forest, follow the old railway line from Noojee to one of the only remaining historic timber trestle bridges in Victoria. The walk is 6km return. Ada Tree Rainforest Walk
This walk leads you through myrtle beech rainforest to the beautiful Ada Tree. Admire this giant mountain ash that is one of Victoria's largest trees. The Ada Tree is at least 300 years old, 76 metres tall with a circumference of 15 metres.The walk is a pleasant 3.2km return.
