Vivere Retreat is a special find. A wonderful space, beautifully curated. With lovely views and cosy spaces, this is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Julie is a great host and provides plenty ...of information on local things to do. You can spend your time exploring waterfalls and nature walks, or just easily curl up on the couch and watch the light change down the valley. It also has a lovely deep bath. I'd definitely book again, the perfect place to relax.

It was a beautiful villa and the views were spectacular. It was a perfect way to unwind and relax over the weekend. It was nice to meet the animals and see diverse wildlife. The local attractions were... worth the hike and we enjoyed the waterfalls. Julie was very responsive and accommodating. We loved having the extra wood delivered to our door to enjoy nights by the fire. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved Vivere retreat and would come back in a heartbeat. The privacy, views and place were all fantastic and Julie was a great host. Definitely a great getaway for the weekend and an amazing place to relax and unwind.

There are so many activities to do both on and off the property. We took a morning walk with coffee in hand down to the bottom paddocks to view the cows and spot kangaroos.

Glen Nayook Rainforest Walk

To stay cool and out of the sun, we started our day with a breathtaking walk at Glen Nayook Rainforest. The 1.5km loop trail follows the Tarago River to a fern gully where the river runs underground.

Noojee Trestle Bridge Walk

Surrounded by towering forest, follow the old railway line from Noojee to one of the only remaining historic timber trestle bridges in Victoria. The walk is 6km return. Ada Tree Rainforest Walk
This walk leads you through myrtle beech rainforest to the beautiful Ada Tree. Admire this giant mountain ash that is one of Victoria's largest trees. The Ada Tree is at least 300 years old, 76 metres tall with a circumference of 15 metres. The walk is a pleasant 3.2km return.

Noojee Hotel

To cap off our adventures, we dined at the famous Noojee Hotel, which came highly recommended by our host. If you enjoy traditional pub food and a cold beer, this is the place to be!

Toorongo Falls

A return track through the Toorongo Falls Reserve leads you to the impressive viewing platforms for Toorongo and Amphitheatre Falls. Watch the water cascade down and experience the beauty ofthese natural falls. The walk is an easy 2.2km return.

Toorongo Falls

Escape the heat and head to Toorongo & Amphitheatre Waterfalls for a hike and swim. These breathtaking falls are ones not to be missed. Although the hike was challenging at times, the view of the magnificent falls was well worth it.
