Additional Information
With so many attractions nearby you won't be short on things to do & see - although I'm not sure you'll want to leave the haven of Dales Run. Kiama town centre is a 3-minute drive down the hill with the famous blowhole great to see especially in big surf. For active types, there are endless nature walks including the famous Kiama Coastal Walk, where you can watch whales migrating north and south in season. The town of Gerringong, just 10 minutes away, has quaint cafes, restaurants, and bars owned by friendly locals, and the local winery, Crooked River, overlooks rolling green hills. Plenty of great beaches and secret rock pools along a magnificent coastline are there to explore. For some shopping, the quaint town of Berry is just a 20-minute drive South. Jamberoo village is also close by with Jamberoo pub, & the antique stores a drawcard as well as Jamberoo action park. 15 minutes further up the mountain, you'll find Minnamurra Rainforest which boasts spectacular walks all year round. There is so much and secret local spots we share in our guest guide. You'll love it.

My wife and I booked Dales Run as a anniversary getaway and could not have found a better place to stay. Dales Run was a relaxing space which offered spectacular views to just wind down and sit back. ...Not only was the space so well thought out, but the hosts were kind enough to have items such as fresh baked bread and milk waiting for us. It was honestly the best location to sit by the fireplace and relax, but also close to various little gems such as waterfalls, beaches and towns including Jamberoo.
Would highly recommend and already looking forward to rebooking in the future.

the bottom of my heart, thank you for this absolutely beautiful home 🌿
The design and décor were so tasteful and welcoming, and it truly gave us such a wonderful feeling.
Everything was perfectly cl...ean, tidy, and fully prepared, with nothing missing at all.
The home was filled with a sense of life, calmness, and joy, which made our stay truly enjoyable.
I would happily recommend this place to others without hesitation.
We stayed here for our babymoon, and it became one of the most beautiful and special memories of our trip as a couple.
We truly hope to come back again in the future, this time with our little son 🤍

Beautifully styled home with gorgeous views. So very cosy and welcoming, perfect for our mid-week winter getaway! Well appointed with quality things to nourish the soul - tea, sauna, mountain view wit...h cows, fire, cosy lounge, bath tub, high quality linen, yoga mats, filtered water. This house has been carefully curated to allow you to unwind. We hung out at the house, did a drive to Gerringong, did a walk in Kiama, watched the sunrise, saw the Kiama blow hole. Def worth staying, hopefully we will be back again soon.

Kiama Coast Walk
This spectacular 22km walk starts at Minnamurra and leads you past headlands, rivers, beaches, the town (for a coffee break) and then up to Blowhole Point before passing bays and finishing at Werri Beach. Take advantage of picnic areas and cafes along the way. Keep and eye out for whales, sea eagles and hawks.

Walking Along The Beach
A beautiful beach to walk along during winter and a great location to visit and swim during summer when the water is warmer.

Swimming At Kiama Beach
We explored the beautiful beaches of Kiama.

Surfing
Main Beach (or Surf Beach) is popular for both swimming and surfing. The surf break is called ‘The Wedge’. The beach is patrolled in summer and there are toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and changing sheds.
Visit Kiama Blowhole
For a local, or even a tourist - visiting the Kiama Blowhole on a good day, is always a great experience. For the day we visited in particular, we were greeted with blue skies, big water eruptions from the blowhole and a huge rainbow. Whether you're staying nearby or passing through - the Kiama Blow is a must-see.
Visiting Saddleback Mountain Lookout
6 km southwest of Kiama there is Saddleback Mountain Lookout where on a clear day you can see all the way from Cronulla in the North to Milton in the South.
