Additional Information

We are located at the absolute highest point of the mountain; we have the entire ridge line dedicated to our unique setup. With this comes mountain top conditions; often it’s windy, the temps may drop, and occasionally it rains... mostly we have sunshine. But overall it is a one-of-a-kind experience staying in a luxury tent with all the amenities off-grid that you could want for a backcountry stay.

Gorgeous views in every direction and some of the rarest plant life and rock minerals in the world. Bring your bikes or motorcycles to fully explore all the beauty the land has to offer.

The viewing deck is perfect for a sunset dinner, glass of wine, and friendly conversation. We provide chopped wood for a fire if the weather permits one. We are here to make your stay comfortable and memorable, so please let us know what we can do to help make that possible.

Your campsite will be completely private from the world. There is a road that runs past your campsite, which is separated by trees and bushes, but you may hear dirt bikes or cars driving past during daytime hours on busy weekends.

For groups of over 2 people, we offer a “guest tent” set up. It is a typical camping tent which we can put either a queen-size bed or two twins at your request. Please let us know in advance if you would like the guest tent. Otherwise, we will set up the extra beds in the main tent.

This is the ultimate luxurious backcountry camping experience; you will not find anything quite like this in the PNW.

You can roam about our 673 acres at your leisure. There are also thousands of acres more of forest service trails with creeks and hidden lakes to discover on your hike or bike ride. The Bavarian town of Leavenworth, WA is a quick 16-mile drive from the property.

I am available by text, phone call, or email anytime. I can socialize with you as much or as little as you'd like. It's your stay; I'm here to make it as perfect as possible for you. Let me know how I can help.

I can be reached at the number provided.

Being in the mountains without any communities nearby we have a lot of wildlife. There is nothing to be scared of, as they will leave you alone as long as you leave them alone (other than the bugs, which we provide OFF Bug Spray). I frequently encounter chipmunks, deer, a variety of birds, bats, and mice (never have I seen any inside the tent). On a rare occasion I have seen coyotes, black bears, and snakes, but never has it been close to the campsites; it has only been on long hikes or the drive up. I just want you to be aware that these lovely creatures are there and it's their homes, not ours, they are just allowing us to visit and share it with them during the summer months. Look, but don't touch. Keep all food well sealed and inside coolers or cars unless you want to share with the animals because they will help themselves without asking first :-)

I also recommend keeping a close eye on your dog if it is small-sized. We do have a majestic hawk family that soars the cliffsides.

You will need a car, truck, or SUV to get to our property. We welcome dirt bikes, mountain bikes, and off-road vehicles. There are miles and miles of forest service trails and roads to explore, as well as our 673 acres of private land.

Leavenworth is 16 miles from the property, but it's a dirt mountain road for about 8 of those miles, so it ends up being about 30-40 minutes. It's beautiful the entire way through, doesn't feel that long.
Once in town, everything is walking distance.

Keep in mind that this is a completely OFF-GRID and backcountry experience. The weather is usually quite pleasant, but it can be unpredictable. Our tent is extremely durable and can withstand 80 mph winds, heavy rain, and even snow; so even if it's miserable outside you are super cozy inside. During our season June through early October the weather should be mostly warm and breezy.

Also, being in the middle of the wilderness means that we have brought amenities to you that are not easy to come by in this environment and therefore we ask you are cognizant of conserving water and energy. Make sure you turn off all faucets entirely, don't run lights or the water pump if you aren't using them, and don't unplug the solar panel.

This site is not suitable for trailers or pop-up campers of any size.

Smoking is only allowed outside the tent and cigarette butts, cigars, etc. MUST be completely distinguished and disposed of in the garbage or burnt in the firepit.

Remove shoes at the door. You may place them on the rubber mat just inside the door to protect them from outside elements.

Dogs do not need to be on leash unless they wander into other campsites or are untrained.

Use flashlights or headlamps at night, terrain can be very rocky and unexpected.

Contact host IMMEDIATELY if anything is wrong, broken, not working, almost not working, confusing, etc. If you don't let us know we will assume it occurred during your stay and you may be charged for the damage.More importantly we want your stay to be perfect so please let us fix problems and find solutions for you during your visit

And while we love children, the Luxury glamping sites are not suitable for them. It's hard on them and boring, and they are hard on our setup. If you would like to camp up here with your children we have fantastic rustic sites where you bring your own camping gear and your children can have fun and play.

    Stargazing At White Aspen

If it's a clear night, you have to either stay up late or set an alarm for the middle of the night. Once you've done that, go out and walk 100 feet away from the tent and close your eyes for 60 seconds. When you open them, you'll see a starry sky unlike any you've seen before....

You crest over the hill and your jaw drops – the view here is mind-blowing. Once you out of the car and see where your tent is set up, you'll be speechless. There's even a deck, where you can sit for hours and take everything in....
