At the foot of Whitehorse mountain and the hiking of the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Swim in the Stillaguamish River (15-minute walk) or hike to the top of one of many snowcapped peaks (Whitehorse Mt. trailhead 1 mile.) Bike on the old railroad trail.
Very private tent camping in forest area, overlooking a seasonal stream. Porta-potty, but no other services.
We have 2 pull-through trailer/tent sites, a group site for 3-6 separate parties (max 12 people), and 4 private wooded tent sites that have quiet views over the (seasonal) creek.
All sites have a generous firepit.
Also in the camp is a Porta-potty, shared by all.
The path down to the creek takes campers to a contemplative space in the forest (“Pondering Place”). This is a great spot to listen to the birds and soak in the calm of the forest, sip a cup of tea, disconnect from the normal.

Site 1.
Pull through trailer site for trailers of up to 20’ (towing vehicle must be unhitched). Shady site in open grassy site.
Site 2/3.
This is our group site. It includes 2 pull-through sites for small trailers, as well as room for several tents. Grassy site shaded by forest and a large maple tree.
Site 4-7.
These are secluded forest tent sites with unobstructed views over the creek and into the forest. Each site can take a tent of 10x12’ or two smaller tents.
Site 6 is most accessible, for those with mobility concerns.
Enjoy the forest and trails, but the creek bed forms the limit of the camp. The owner has private areas beyond the creek, please respect their privacy. We have created a camp that does not need much oversight, as long as each guest is respectful of the property and other guests.

We are Steve and Kelly Keyser, hosts of this cabin site. We are tiny cabin lovers, and have built one nearby so that we can enjoy this beautiful place any time that we want. I enjoy photography and hiking and love our proximity to all of the great mountain trails nearby, especially the North Cascades National Park.

Stillaguamish River Swim
Just 15-20 minute walk takes you to some swimming holes on the Stillaguamish River.
Boulder River Trail
The first two miles of this trail make a great family hike, finishing at spectacular waterfalls. The waterfall is unnamed, which is surprising considering its height and beauty. The trail up to the falls is an easy hike, there is a bit of a scramble down to falls.
Whitehorse Summit Neiderprum Trail 7000 Climb
Neiderprum Trail to Whitehorse Mountain is a 10.3 mile out and back trail to the summit, that features beautiful wildflowers and is rated as difficult. The trail is used for hiking, bird watching, and snowshoeing, accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail. Elevation gain 7,224 ft.
Mine Road Trail Snow Gulch Waterfalls
A beautiful afternoon hike up an abandoned road to an old mine near Darrington. A scramble up the creek at the end of the trail leads to 2 waterfalls.
North Mountain Skills Park Mountain Biking
The lower mountain skills park is now open with 5 miles of trails with jumps, skill features, and lower elevation loops designed for absolute beginner up to expert riders.
Whitehorse Regional Trail
Spanning over 27 miles between the City of Arlington and the Town of Darrington, the Whitehorse Regional Trail follows the path of the former BNSF railroad through the North Stillaguamish River Valley. The bike/hike/horseback trail rewards visitors with picturesque, landscape views of forests, farmland, streams and rivers, and mountain vistas.
