Fantastic weekend away, the clamping tent has all the luxuries you would expect of a hotel. So cosy with the heater on and the rain coming down through the night. Beautiful quiet little town with plen...ty of nearby attractions. Deluxe BBQ kit was a must have and made preparing all our meals super easy. Thanks again.

Long Jetty Stroll
The historic Long Jetty at nearly 900 metres long is perfect for a relaxing stroll. Recently renovated and reopened after a fire, Long Jetty has been around since the 1930's when it served as a major fishing link through Bass Strait and Tasmania. Check out the clear water and fishing action, great for a sunset view as well.
Agnes Falls
A short 15 minute drive through the rolling green hills, and you'll find Agnes Falls. At 60 metres, it is the highest single span waterfall in Victoria. An easy walk along the river to the impressive falls is a surefire way to relax and unwind.
Discover Waterfalls Around The Area
Base your self at Tarra Valley Caravan Park while you hike your way through the lush rainforest amongst the worlds oldest Myrtle beech and giant Mountain Ash trees to discover over 20 water falls around Tarra Valley. Excellent photography opportunities for the adventures to capture the elusive Lyrebird and stunning waterfalls. Some walks to the falls are easy and accessible by car and other by 4WD only and very challenging.
Grand Strzelecki Track
Come and walk in solitude through a different rainforest so rare, most people have never heard of it, and far fewer will ever see it. Come and discover peaceful, beautiful places far from the beaten track. Come and discover the Grand Strzelecki Track.
Tarra Bulga Suspension Bridge
Tarra-Bulga National Park in South Gippsland is well known for its giant Mountain Ash trees, beautiful fern gullies and ancient myrtle beeches… Walk to the impressive Corrigan’s Suspension Bridge, which stretches through the rainforest canopy, affording spectacular views of the lush fern gully on the forest floor below.
Wilsons Prom Tidal River And Squeaky Beach
Wilsons Prom is world-renowned, so I'm not sure why we've never checked it out before. A winding drive into the national park gives you glimpses of the white sand beaches and boulder laden mountains. We stopped in the central hub of Tidal river and explored Norman beach, the wind nearly blew us over but created impressive mini sand storms.
On the way out we visited the famous Squeaky beach. The huge burnt orange boulders dominated the white sand of the beach that certainly lives up to its name. We explored through the rock openings and scrambled across the boulders to the headland. Well worth taking the long way home.
