Additional Information
The 2nd bedroom is in a lofted area with 4' ceilings that is accessed by additional stairs. Please note that the railing from the loft to the main floor is lower than a conventional railing. This bedroom space is most suited to guests that can navigate the stairs, low ceiling, and safety precautions given the low railing.
While the home may be tiny, the property is expansive. Sit out on the covered porch to take it all in. Venture onto the patio for a nightly fire or outdoor game. Grill dinner on the provided propane grill and eat under the trees at the outdoor patio table.
WiFi was recently installed to our home. While we have the fastest speed available, please remember that speeds and reliability at the base of the mountain will be less reliable than in the city. For this reason, wifi availability is not guaranteed.
We have a great collection of DVDs for family movie nights!
Guests have access to the whole house, front deck, and yard off of front deck.
We are available via messaging platform to assist before and during your stay.
The Nisqually Park community is a secluded enclave of cabins and vacation rentals. We are the last turn before the entrance of Mt. Rainier. As such, you will skip the miles long traffic back up that occurs at Mt. Rainier each morning.
A car is recommended when staying at this home. With that being said, the neighborhood is very walkable. There is also a trail that parallels the Nisqually River within walking distance of the house.
Our home can accommodate two dogs. Please include pet details in your message when booking.
Due to the nature of our mountain location, our home may lose power/internet during weather events. Flashlights and extra blankets are provided for these occurrences. If a guest chooses to check out during a power outage, a refund of the nightly fee will be provided. Guests choosing to keep their reservation will be charged the full booking amount.
Dogs
We are happy to accommodate your dog. So that we may continue to allow dogs and keep a reasonable pet fee, we ask that you and your dog follow the below house rules.
-Dogs are only allowed on hard surface areas of home (kitchen, family room).
-Dogs may not go into the bedroom, loft, or on furniture.
-Dogs must be crated if left unattended.
-All excrement must be picked up outside.
-Dog hair should be removed from all surfaces prior to your departure.

I love all that travel offers -glimpses into other cultures and lifestyles, adventure, and quality time with family just to name a few! As a young man, I relished the ability to spontaneously travel to new destinations. Now, I get a chance to revisit many of my favorite destinations and see them through the eyes of my children. My personal love for travel has inspired me to create these moments for others. I have recently developed several listings and have enjoyed hosting them.
