What a perfect location! Although we didn't explore the intense hikes that are super close by, we spent most of our time relaxing at the Lily Pad - hanging out in the Bullfrog Lounge, watching trains ...pass as we hung out next to the creek, and lounging in the sun on the grass. This was a vacation for slowing down and taking it easy.
We, of course, explored downtown Camas (about 5 minutes away) and fueled up on delicious breakfast items and dinner before and after our hikes to Lacamas Park.
Can't wait to visit the kitties at the Lily Pad again!

I am a Native American artist, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and owner of our little traveling bar service, Tin Cantina. I am your typical Northwest girl and love all things outdoor rain or shine. My husband Cory and I, enjoy camping in our Airstream, hiking, kayaking, good beer ( & wine) and traveling bnb style. We became empty nesters and decided to become hosts! I've lived in Oregon my entire life and still feel like I live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Cory and I love working together to make our spaces a little oasis to enjoy and share with others.

Exploring Historic Downtown Camas
Downtown Camas is only about 8 blocks and is surrounded by creeks, trails, and the mighty paper mill. Spend hours popping into wine bars, restaurants, antique shops, and even the old movie theatre. This town is full of old-timey charm.
Bagels At Cedar Street Bagel Company
Surprisingly, there are numerous options for bagels in this small town. Cedar Street Bagel Company is *the* place. They even have vegan and gluten-free options too!
Coffee At Hidden River Roasters
On the hunt for good coffee? Hidden River Roasters is the best place in town for a cuppa. Nestled inside an old house, they boast delicious brews with tasty signature drinks.
Walking Around Lacamas Park
Lacamas Park is huge. If you're lucky, you can spot Camas Lilies (which the town was named after) in the lily field during certain times of the year.
Lacamas Trail
4 waterfalls, 2 lakes, 2 rivers in a 5 mile walk. It's amazing all year long but people flock to see the fields of Camas Lily blooming in the spring.
Cape Horn Trail
Cape Horn Trail has the most spectacular views of the Columbia River Gorge. The upper and lower trails are a 9 mile loop. The upper section has the best views and it's also where a scene from Twighlight was filmed if you want to get your teenage vampire vibe going.
