Treetop, River or Garden Deluxe Room at River Valley Lodge

River Valley Lodge is situated in a beautiful location, beside the Rangitikei River on the central North Island of New Zealand. River Valley is a family operation, having first opened in 1982.

River Valley Lodge has a variety of accommodations, café and bar, meeting rooms, saunas, and spa. Using the Lodge as a base, you can go on a rafting adventure, a horse trek, or explore some of the local rural back roads on an e-bike. Of course, you could simply relax beside the river and enjoy some delicious food, many of the ingredients of which come from the on-site organic gardens.

Each of our Deluxe rooms has a king bed, which can also be split into 2 singles.

Each room has its own ensuite bathroom with a shower.

The rooms are nestled in the bush, away from the main lodge building, with glimpses of the river. There is a large deck between the two, which is a great sun trap. They are a great place to be if you want to be right in nature and enjoy the sounds of the river and native birds.

The lodge has an on site bar and restaurant, serving fresh Farm to Table style meals made with produce from our own gardens.

The nightly rate includes:
- A Treetop, River, or Garden Deluxe ensuite room
- A 3 Course Farm to Table dinner, for 2 people (dinner is a daily set menu created by our chef using seasonal produce from the lodge gardens).
- Breakfast for 2 people
