The Guest House is located on a large organic farm with beautifully landscaped gardens and mature trees. There is a natural spring that provides pristine drinking water. (You wont need to bring bottled water).
Guests can enjoy our free range eggs and honey.

Wildlife abounds at Crooked Finger Farms and we have endless miles of private hiking and equestrian trails adjacent to the property. Guests are invited to roam freely on the extensive grounds and enjoy the

My staff and myself go above and beyond to make sure everything is thoroughly cleaned! We wash off everything! Always have and always will. From light switches to all door handles, etc... my staff and myself are diligent!

The Kitchen:
Make fabulous meals in the gracious kitchen to share with friends and family.

We make sure the kitchen is well stocked with coffee, teas, an array spices, condiments and gourmet cooking supplies.

There is a breakfast nook with beautiful views overlooking the pond and pastures. The gorgeous custom tile, marble countertops, hardwood Oak floors, original art, antiques and Oriental rugs throughout, make this a truly delightful space!

The Dining Room:
In addition to the kitchen table with 4 chairs, there is also a more formal dining room with a large Refectory Table. It is a wonderful place for hosting a candle lit dinner. There are dishes, fine stemware and place settings that will graciously accommodate up to eight guests.

The Living Room:
Guests love to kick back on the luxurious white down filled sectional sofa and enjoy our extensive DVD collection. Or just curl up with a fresh brewed cup of coffee and a good book.

Master Bedroom:
The spacious master bedroom-suite has a queen size bed with luxurious crisp cotton sheets, down comforter, pillows and a beautiful Wool Berber carpet. The master bathroom has a tub/shower. There is also access to the deck and hot tub from the master bedroom for those late night dips!

Additional Sleeping Area:
'The Annex' is located off the master suite with 2 twin beds. This room is ideally suitable for guests with small children, or those who want more sleeping room. There is a French door that separates the two rooms.

Second Bedroom:
The 2nd bedroom is located off the living room and has a very comfortable double size handmade custom mattress with luxury bedding.

*The Family Room or Additional *3rd 'Bedroom':
There is a comfortable family room ideal for when there are fewer guests... Or we will make up the full sized sofa bed with a mattress topper to create an additional private sleeping space for one or two guests. Please keep in mind, this is a fold out... It is not the most comfortable bed in the house...

*3rd bedroom:
Located in the front of the house this room is very private and is separated from the rest of the house by the living room, kitchen, and formal dining room. It has a full size sleeper sofa with a mattress topper. There is access to a delightful front porch with views of the farm ideal for that early morning cup of coffee.

Bathrooms:
The master bath off the main bedroom has a tub and overhead shower. The 2nd bathroom is located off 'your' Laundry/Mud room and has large walk in shower.

The Deck:
French doors open off the living room to a private deck.
There is comfortable seating overlooking the pond with patio furniture and propane BBQ. Share a bottle of wine and soak in the natural spring fed Cedar Hot Tub with serene views. The deck is also great for outdoor dining and a spontaneous BBQ. Roast marshmallows over an open fire, stargaze or just listen to the sounds of nature...

Guests love the extensive lawns, gardens and beautiful hiking trails!

We are ideally located in the upper Willamette Valley approximately 15 min. from the town of Silverton, OR. The Guest House is a great home base to explore the famous Silver Falls St. Park and hike ‘The Trail of the Ten Falls’. The Town of Silverton has great shopping, a delightful seasonal Farmer's Market and excellent restaurants! There are several ‘up and coming’ brew pubs and great places to explore for Sunday Brunch. And be sure to check out the local 'Old-Time' movie theater!

The City of Portland, and the Capital City of Salem are both nearby.

We also offer overnight accommodation for horses.

The area is ideal for outdoor activities that include wine tasting, hiking, mountain biking, bicycle riding, kayaking, swimming, skiing, horseback riding, shooting & fishing. Local attractions: Camp Dakota, The Town of Silverton, The Trail of the Ten Falls at Silver Falls State Park, and The Oregon Gardens… Just to name a few....

A note for families with small children:
Children are welcome at Crooked Finger Farms. However, the Guest House is NOT child proof. Guests with small children need to be advised that there is an open pond and all the hazards of farm life. Please be sure this property is suitable for you. There is also a sensitive septic system and guest with infants must take special care not to flush anything other that paper. If the home is left in excessively dirty condition, you may be assessed an additional cleaning fee.

Please ask for directions to hike the adjacent trails. Enjoy the ponds and hang out on the lawns or explore the farm and say hi to the horses. We just ask that you please do not disturb other guests, open any gates or go into any of the barns or outbuildings unless accompanied by a staff member, or by prior permission.

Other things to note:

Guests MUST call for detailed directions on the morning of their booking. Due to the rural nature of the property you may not have a cell signal in route.

The farm is located in the Upper Willamette Valley. And although rare, at 1800 ft, we can periodically experience some winter weather conditions.

Non-registered guests are NOT allowed on the property without prior permission from the owner. If you are expecting non-registered guests and/or require extra parking, you must clear this with the owner first.

Please do not send booking requests for stays less than 2 days or ask to bring your pet or service animal. We can not accommodate them at this time as we are a working farm with livestock on the property.

We love kids, but please be aware that this property may not be suitable for infants or children under the age of 2yrs. We have an open pond and all the hazards of farm life! So please be aware of this when booking with small children. Please read the entire listing description to make sure the property is right for you and your group.

If you have a child, infant or toddler, you must include them in the count for the total number of guests. And that the extra guest fee still applies. And please be careful to properly dispose of your diapers in the trash inside a plastic bag.

Please be sure that you are accurate with the number of guests that will be staying on the property. Additional guests fee applies for groups larger than 4 guests.

We are on a sensitive septic system. Please do not flush or put anything other than toilet paper in the toilet.

Late arrivals (after 10:00pm) can be accommodated, but must be arranged in advance or by special request and may be subject to an additional fee.

Cell phone coverage can be limited on the property. However, guests are welcome to use Wifi to connect their phones inside the house.

Please be aware that this is a rural property. We are located at 1,700 ft and although rare, we can sometimes experience some snow. Please check the weather conditions and plan accordingly.

Due to the nature of the farm and surrounding countryside we may also experience power outages. These occurrences are rare and we will do our utmost to remedy the situation ASAP.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
The utmost care has gone into the cleaning, care and presentation of this lovely, comfortable home. Please respect our home by returning it to the condition you found it. And please help us adhere to current CDC policies by frequent hand washing!

Non registered guests are not allowed on the property without prior permission from the owner. This request must be made in writing at the time of booking. It is solely the responsibility of the registered guest to make sure everyone is aware of the house rules; no shoes inside the house, etc... You may also be required to pay an additional cleaning fee.

The Sofa Bed (or 3rd bedroom) is located in the 2nd Living Room. There is a folding screen for privacy. We ask that guests request this 5th bed at the time of booking so we can have it ready for their group.

As we are a working farm, we have a strict 'no shoes' policy inside the home. We ask that guests kindly observe our house rules and please advise their guests of these policies. Please be aware that as this property is in a rural location, in addition to our animals described in the listing details, you may expect that there will be wild animals present. Every measure has been taken to keep our property clean, however, due to the nature of the property and its location, we cannot guarantee that you might not encounter the occasional mouse or spider.

Due to the extreme risk of fire and our insurance, we have a strict no-cigarette smoking policy! Cigarette smoking is not allowed anywhere in or around the farm. Including down the end of the driveway.

If you need anything, or something is broken e.g. wine glasses, or you have a problem, you must inform us ASAP so we may have the opportunity to fix it. Please use the landline located in the 2nd bedroom to call us if you have any issues. we will respond ASAP!

Guests must call the morning of their booking to confirm their arrival time and fine tune directions.

Heater/Air Conditioner and all lights MUST be turned off upon checkout.

Guests must empty all trash and recycling (No Glass) in appropriate bins provided. *Please do not leave us your cardboard for recycling.

If you move chairs, please return them, etc... And please respect our antiques by not putting anything hot or wet on them.

HOT TUB USE:
Please be aware that the hot tub is to be used 'at your own risk'.

Every attempt is made to assure the hot tub is clean and hot for each guests.
However, we do not have control of periodic power outages or improper use causing the hot tub to change in temperature. And as it is located outside, there may be the potential for leaves, etc...

It is mandatory that All guests shower before each use!

If the Guest House or hot tub are left in an excessively dirty condition, or there is damage to the property in any way, you will be responsible for the reimbursement costs.

Please make sure that all dishes, etc... are thoroughly washed and properly stored.

Please remember this is a rural property and we do periodically experience occasional power outages. We do have adequate internet, so you can connect your phone via the WIFI. However, guests may experience periodic slower speeds as we are on a satellite network. Please be aware that there may be limited cell reception outside the home. Guests are welcome to wander the property, but please be considerate of our other guests... The Bali House area is private. Horses are not for guests use unless prior arrangements have been made with the owner.

Parking for the Guest House will accommodate up to 4 cars. If you need additional parking you will need to notify us at the time of you booking.

Please keep the driveway next to the Red Farmhouse clear for fire access.
