Additional Information
CORTES KILN DETAILS
The project is a renovation of a 100 yr old brick tobacco kiln,
The lush internal green courtyard inside the house open to the hallway is all about getting light and warmth into the house through the thinner transparent skin during the day, but is zoned off during the night as the house contracts for warmth.
Enjoy a relaxing bath with view of both the internal garden and outside garden
The property of 1 acre consists of a grand garden, with lots of private seating, a large two car garage, and views of the rolling green hills of Gapsted.
I live on the Farm across the road from the Kiln , so I'm only a walk away if needed. But I give the tenants space and privacy.

Adventures Nearby
Here are some details about the adventures nearby. Refer to the map for their location.
Gapsted Estate
The best spot for a cheese board and bottle of wine was at Gapsted Estate just up the road from our accommodation. There’s nothing like watching the sun go down over the grapevines and you can even take the rest of the bottle home!
Woolshed Falls
The Falls are a popular destination for nature lovers and history buffs. The area was once the centre of one of the richest goldfield’s in Australia, where up to 8,000 prospectors camped along the banks of Spring Creek, in search of their fortune.
Red Stag Deer Emu Farm
Get up close and personal with deer, emu and mountain goats. But don’t get too close! Grab a bite to eat at the restaurant afterwards.
Mt Buffalo Lookout
Beautiful windy drive up to the top that ends with a lookout over the Victorian Alps.
Ladies Bath Falls
Just a few kilometres from the base of Mt Buffalo. Crystal clear waters with massive boulders all around lends itself to be a perfect picnic spot and is an easy 400m bush walk.
