Additional Information

The project is a renovation of a 100 yr old brick tobacco kiln,
The lush internal green courtyard inside the house open to the hallway is all about getting light and warmth into the house through the thinner transparent skin during the day, but is zoned off during the night as the house contracts for warmth.

The property of 1 acre consists of a grand garden, with lots of private seating, a large two car garage, and views of the rolling green hills of Gapsted.
The property also neighbours my parents Walnut Farm, where guests are welcome to wander about the 175 acre orchard or even take the bikes for a ride down to the river for a relaxing swim.

I live on the Farm across the road from the Kiln , so I'm only a walk away if needed. But I give the tenants space and privacy.

The Cortes Kiln was everything we expected and more. A perfect environment surrounded this awesome place and was topped off with a secluded river nearby.

Ronaldo was lovely and very accommodating.

This was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable stays we have experienced and will definitely return.

This cool little cottage is definitely something to be experienced.

Very cool place, great design. Felt very private, living area and patio overlooks beautiful bush/farm land. Gapsted's a great location, handy for trips to Bright and Beechworth and stunning Mt Buffalo.
Would love to visit again when not so hot!
