If I Could Turn Back Time

Most of us have a second, secret job: clockwatching. We look out for the next day off, weekend or holiday. But The Rose has a special power that helps fulfil that secret job – it can turn back time.
Nestled up against Browns and Cambewarra mountains, this Heritage-listed settler's cottage, which was built in 1851, will help you stop the clock and turn back time. With views for days, this cosy cottage helps simplify the whirlwind that is our everyday. It has all the features we love to explore such as original pull string lights, an inviting fireplace, an expansive bathroom and an absolutely vintage clawfoot bathtub. You can’t help but slow down, refresh and re-energise as you take in these luxuries and allow yourself to rest and relax.
Once you have been able to enjoy the breather, you can explore the one-acre property and survey the mountains while enjoying the deck. I also recommend enjoying a morning coffee by the large fire pit to ease into the day. You don’t have to worry about what time it is, because it doesn’t matter. The surrounding cottages will help you reset as well recalibrate.
