The Coba Escape by the Water
Adventure in Berowra Creek, Central Coast, NSW, AU
I was intrigued by Julians on Coba's boat-only access from the get-go. This spot is so close to Sydney, but somehow I never knew it existed. I'm certainly glad I know now.
Located in a quiet, tranquil spot at Coba Point, the house has its own private jetty and we barely saw another person throughout our stay. We decided to hire our own private tinnie boat (no license required), which gave us the freedom to explore all around the local boat-only access spots.
A freak storm may have kept us from venturing out, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the place and all that it had to offer. As Julians provided everything we needed, most of our days were spent on the deck, soaking up the morning sun with a coffee in hand or relaxing with a wine in the afternoon. An outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace kept us cosy for the cooler times too.
If you're after a bit of adventure, you can swim, kayak, boat or fish directly from the jetty. Or go ahead and explore some of the local beaches, cafes/restaurants or walking tracks only minutes from the front door.
This is certainly a place that offers the rest you've been looking for, while also satisfying the heartiest of explorers too.

The waterways around this area are incredible, beautiful and relatively easily accessed by boat. You can visit nearby boat-only beaches, cafes and restaurants all within a few minutes. You'll feel like you're a million miles from the city.
With enough rods to cater for the full family of keen fishers, Julians has fishing covered. The best part is that it's right at your doorstep too. Just trundle out to the end of the jetty, cast your line and test your fishing skills.
