A Weekend Filled with Waterfalls
Adventure in Issaquah, Greater Seattle, WA, US
This cabin is very charming and close to nature. It's also super easy to find and close to shopping options, though you'll feel like you're in the middle of the woods. Looking out from the porch, you'll be immersed in the forest with the sound of the creek and the sight of the trees. There is a path that leads down to a waterfall, where you can sit back, relax, and journal or read a book. You'll feel like you're miles away from the hustle and bustle of the busy life, but again, the cabin is just minutes away from all kinds of amenities. It's the perfect location with plenty of hiking options too.
We did a little bit of everything during our stay. The first day was sunny out, so we decided to stay at the cabin and enjoy the view with a cup of coffee on the front porch. We adventured down to the creek where there is a nice gravel trail with three different spots to sit and enjoy the view. Later in the evening, we simply enjoyed the sound of the creek and chatted.
The bed was very comfortable, and the sound of the creek was soothing and relaxing. We slept like babies and woke up feeling refreshed. We decided to check out Gilman Village, just down the street, and found that Issaquah Coffee was a great way to start our day. They opened early, so we hung out there until all the shops were open the spent the morning shopping. It rained that afternoon, so we drove to the breathtaking Snoqualmie Falls. It was a very short walk to view the falls, which, in turn, were easy to get to from the cabin, with pretty views for the whole drive....

Things We Did
- Waterfall
- Town
- Scenic Drive
This gorgeous waterfalls shares the same parking lot as Salish Spa. It was a very rainy day, and we wanted to go see waterfalls but not have to hike miles to get to one. This place is amazing because you can park and walk a minute down the path to get to the view. There are trails that take you lower if you wish, but it was a beautiful place, even from the top when it was raining....
