Luxury at Lakeside

Spa, fireplace, lakeside view and good wine… what more could you ask for! As soon as we arrived at Lakeside Villas we went into relaxation mode and were quick to indulge in what the villa had to offer - the first night was spent drinking wine in the deep spa and getting cosy by the fireplace.

The next morning we woke up to the most beautiful sunrise from our own private balcony overlooking the lake and then enjoyed a walk around it, taking in the serenity. Sitting next to each other, observing the morning sun rays shimmer on the ripples while the swans and ducks swam around was a relaxing beginning to our day. Next, we headed down the road to Torello Farm where we picked up some fresh produce to cook along with the tasty breakfast items supplied by the villa. We cooked together and then enjoyed breakfast on our balcony. In the afternoon we enjoyed a session of wine tasting at the Crittenden Estate Wine Centre where we sampled a variety of wines crafted onsite (which were all amazing - if you’re a wine lover this place will be heaven for you!). Dromana Beach is just a stone’s throw away, so we decided to walk along the shore and the pier as the sun was setting.

After another restful night, we headed down to the Mornington Racecourse Market which showcases homemade products and locally owned businesses. Then for some hiking and adventure, we headed out for the wonderfully scenic Bushrangers Bay, known for its rock pools and volcanic landscape.

Lakeside Villas is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating experience in a tranquil setting, and is in a convenient location for exploring what the beautiful Mornington Peninsula has to offer!

While taking a stroll along the shore we witnessed myriad hues of dusk where the sky was lit in beautiful shades of purple, pink, yellow and blue. The pier and the beach boxes added to the picturesque view.

A roughly 3-kilometre walk from the car park is worth it for the stunning views of the volcanic land space, rock pools and beach. You could easily spend the day out here, especially on warmer days.
