The drizzly weather we encountered on our arrival at Timberline did nothing to dampen the property’s incredible views over Mansfield. Situated on a hilltop farm about ten minutes from Mansfield, Timberline was a fabulous base for our short family getaway.

We found the accommodation comfortable, stylish and family-friendly. The lounge and dining area’s floor-to-ceiling windows are the star of the place and provide breathtaking views of farmland, mountains and the Mansfield township. The kitchen is well-equipped and generous breakfast supplies are provided. Each of the generously sized bedrooms has its own bathroom, and we enjoyed relaxing in the spa bath.

The kids loved the farm setting and were especially excited about feeding Rocky the lamb and collecting fresh eggs with our friendly host Jenny. The well-kept gardens and large grassed areas around the accommodation were great for more outdoor time.

Timberline provides an excellent base for families, friends or couples to explore the local area or simply slow down and rejuvenate amongst the rolling green hills.
