'The Woody' by the Waves
Adventure in Inverloch, Gippsland, VIC, AU
Our stay at ’The Woody’ was one full of relaxation, sunrises and sunsets, crashing waves and adventure.
We arrived in the seaside town of Inverloch just in time to witness the sunset from Eagles Nest - a natural rock formation along the Bunurong Coastal Drive which is the perfect place for exploration and photography. We then arrived at ‘The Woody’ and were instantly amazed by how spacious, bright and well-equipped the home was - with a kitchen you can cook up a storm in and an outdoor patio and firepit for hanging out and unwinding.
The following morning we decided to get up bright and early to explore more places along the coast, firstly the Caves. Unfortunately, the tide was too high to explore the actual caves however we were treated to a beautiful sunrise. We then visited Shack Bay, a natural wonder which felt like our own private beach. For the afternoon we headed back and enjoyed a couple of drinks on the deck whilst listening to the sounds of the waves. Then for sunset, we headed around the corner to Inverloch Surf Beach to witness the golden sand and sun.
‘The Woody’ is in a convenient location for your coastal holiday as it is just a 5-minute walk to the patrolled Inverloch Surf Beach and a short drive to many scenic spots along the coast. When you’re not by the beach there are also plenty of cute cafes, restaurants and small businesses to explore in town. With its architectural design, spacious layout and comfortable, homely feel, it’s the perfect base for a well-needed getaway with the whole group, family or your partner.
