Glamorous Geodesic Glamping
Adventure in Inverloch, Gippsland, VIC, AU
After a long day at work, we headed to the perfect place to wind down - the stunning 'Andersons Let', a marvellous geodesic dome in Inverloch. We were greeted by the host, Vanessa, who showed us around the property and made us feel right at home. Vanessa is incredibly hospitable and her attention to detail is exquisite - the dome has everything you need to relax and unwind in both comfort and style.
To kick off the relaxing stay, I hopped into my private barrel bath and enjoyed a glass of wine - which put me straight into relaxation mode! An experience I would entirely recommend. We were then treated to a beautiful sunset, introducing us to the beauty of Inverloch. We put on our luxurious robes and settled down for the night, ready to have the best sleep we'd had in a long time.
The next morning, we were treated again to a gorgeous sunrise from the bed that we continued to admire while sipping coffee on the deck. After getting ready, we headed out to experience what the area has to offer. First up was Twin Reefs, a beach where you can get lost for hours exploring stunning reefs, rockpools, cliffs and splashing waves. Then we headed to Caves Beach where we walked in the footprints of dinosaurs and went cave exploring. After all the adventure, we refuelled with the classic fish and chips by the beach.
Upon returning we washed off in our outdoor shower and hung out around the property which included lazing on the hammock, cooking in the communal kitchen, reading under the teepee and roasting marshmallows by the fire. Then came the rain - which was perfectly fine as we enjoyed ourselves inside the dome, keeping warm with a cuppa while watching the raindrops fall down the window.
Before the trip back home, we rose early to catch the sunrise at Eagles Nest, a spectacular natural rock formation. The postcard-worthy view was a fitting farewell to Inverloch.
To summarise our stay at 'Andersons Let' - it was the perfect getaway in nature while still enjoying some creature comforts. We highly recommend if you wish to feel nothing short of rejuvenated and inspired!
