Charming Cottage with Cedar Hot Tub
Adventure in Katoomba, Blue Mountains, NSW, AU
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Katoomba town centre, is this 1920s cottage. It's the perfect getaway, made extra special with a hot tub to come back to after a day of hiking.
We arrived as the golden afternoon sun poured through the blinds illuminating this charming and cozy space. Beautifully restored timber floors, original fireplaces and high ceilings, unmissable features of the 1920's.
We had everything we needed for an amazing getaway including linen bathrobes, Turkish cotton bath towels, a luxurious king size bed, books, tea and coffee. Speciality treats like blueberry pancakes and chai tea were enjoyed on the deck under the wilting maple tree.
Our adventures took us to the Minnihaha Waterfalls and the Grand Canyon - both not to be missed! The sandstone overhangs, the brilliant green rainforest, the fresh cold spring waters cascading down waterfalls was powerful, beautiful and awe-inspiring.
After our visit to Katoomba we were left feeling rejuvenated and stress-free. We highly recommend staying at this Romantic 1920s Cottage, beautiful accommodation and an amazing region to explore.

Minnehaha Falls is a gorgeous waterfall walk located in Katoomba. It's a relatively easy nature walk that leads you over creeks, along cliffs, down to undercliff walks, until eventually bringing you out to the base of an incredible waterfall. A little too cold to swim in winter but would would make a great spot to hang out in summer.
This is one of our favourite walks to do in the Blue Mountains. Just over 6 km long, the Grand Canyon Walk is a true bushwalking adventure. With beautiful views, lush rainforest, pretty waterfalls, creek crossings, high sandstone walls, and large rock overhangs, this walking track has something for everyone.
Cassiopeia quickly became our favourite spot for takeaway coffee. Roasted in the Blue Mountains, the coffee has a delicate strength and drinking it is a pleasure, made even more enjoyable knowing the care that has gone into the whole process of making it.
Memento Vintage & Antiques is a must visit. Filled with a collection of antique, vintage and retro collectibles including clothes, records, books and much more! It was a nostalgic experience!
