Venturing into the picturesque Goulburn River Retreat with my closest friends, we embarked on an escape that would etch moments of pure human-nature connection into my memory. We left the city's pace far behind, stepping into one of the most breathtaking regions of High Country Victoria.

Just beyond Lake Eildon's borders, we were greeted by Jamieson town, a hidden gem in the countryside where time slows to the simple rhythm of a life intimately entwined with nature. We reveled in the local beauty along the river and savored delicious coffee at the General Store. This place serves as the gateway to a region unlike any other we've explored in Victoria.

Our stay in this thoughtfully renovated architectural project was a dream. It's a cozy haven for explorers, group travelers, river enthusiasts, and fishing aficionados. Waking up by the river, capturing the serenity, and starting our day with a refreshing yoga session was all we needed. With summer's warmth, a dip in the river was a must, and the experience was truly incredible.
