Who could have expected we'd find such a serene escape so close to Sydney! Just a short drive from Sydney via the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge, and we arrived at our homely slice of Riparide luxury- Rockpool, overlooking Coledale beach. This open plan home with thoughtfully finished with artistic touches, truly was a stay to remember!

We explored the house and all it had to offer. We opened the sliding doors to enjoy the birdsongs and breathtaking views over the ocean as we ate dinner. As evening fell, we prepared some popcorn and snuggled into the plush seats in the home theatre to watch a movie before curling up in bed, dosing off to the rhythmic sounds of the sea less than 100m from our door.

The ocean waves were still calling when we awoke, so after enjoying the picturesque hues of sunrise from the balcony, we headed down to Coledale Rock Pool for a morning dip. We came back, rinsed off under the outdoor shower and hopped in the spa, continuing to laugh and drink in the views for hours until our fingertips were wrinkly. We’d heard about a gelato spot in Kiama, so spent the afternoon losing track of time, eating sweet treats in the sunshine.

This stay left us feeling properly relaxed, and the best part was finding this idyllic holiday feeling so close to home!
