Valley of Luxury

Immensely excited for our stay in the countryside, we hit the road through the hills of Murchison. Upon entering our abode for the weekend, we were blown away by the incredible location and landscape of the property.

Polo in Strath Creek is a meticulously designed property, nestled in the picturesque valley of a thousand hills. Its expansive layout boasts an open-plan design that seamlessly integrates the breathtaking views from every vantage point. The interior is lavishly appointed, featuring a spacious kitchen equipped with every amenity needed to host gatherings with friends. Its eco-conscious design ensures an incredibly comfortable stay while offering panoramic views of the surroundings.

Upon stepping outside, manicured lawns welcome you, providing a serene backdrop against the rolling hills and valley vistas. The tranquil ambiance, punctuated only by the gentle whispers of the wind and occasional sounds of nature, creates a refreshing escape from the bustle of daily life.

We spent our weekend taking in the tranquility and enjoying the homes unique design. We walked the King Parrot creek just behind the house and later went fishing. Drinks on the deck and quality time together were had as we watched the sun go down. Later, we lit the fire and relaxed into the evening. At night, the clear country skies treated us to a view of the Milky Way.

We checked out the Murchison Gap lookout at sunset the next day and enjoyed coffee and Portuguese tarts at the lovely General store in nearby Strath Creek. We mostly enjoyed the ambiance of the serene valley and the way the home brought the great outdoors in through every window.
Polo stands as an oasis amidst the surrounding Australian landscape, embraced by the gentle flow of the King Parrot creek, offering a retreat like no other.

Departing felt akin to leaving a comforting embrace that only the Australian countryside can offer. A truly relaxing time was had by all, savoring life's finer moments in the most luxurious of ways.

The property has direct access to King Parrot creek which runs right behind the house. Definetly worth a fish, saw quite a few but only managed to catch one nice red fin. Out the gate, turn right and walk about 100 metres for a decent spot.

Though a bit dry on our visit, still worth a walk down to the imposing gorge. Great workout coming back up the stairs. Would be an epic fall with some rain.
