Hidden Guesthouse Hideaway

Arriving in the small township of Somersby, we instantly felt miles away from the big smoke - while at the same time, spellbound by how short the trip seemed to feel. Less than an hour and a half from the centre of Sydney, the Somersby Guesthouse is located in a secret little pocket of bushland, nestled within the Brisbane Waters National Park, and only 20 minutes to Gosford.

The Somersby Guesthouse is immaculately designed, with every modern comfort and the most impressive use of space. For me, the biggest highlight was the appreciation for the natural spring water plumbed throughout the property, fed from a bore and filtered through 40 meters of natural Sandstone.

We spent our days lazing around in the mottled sun through the enormous Eucalyptus trees, playing guitar, enjoying the spacious outdoor bath and sitting by the fire pit. We refreshing our souls at the local waterfalls and beaches - a truly cleansing and enriching getaway.
