Idle Lake House is the ultimate holiday destination! Situated right on the waterfront of the Gippsland Lakes, this unique floating house will have your crew having the time of their lives.

We loved swimming to our hearts content, hanging out on the deck, enjoying some drinks and chats, relaxing in the 'Bath House', listening to tunes on the record player, and just overall having an excellent time in each others company, in such an idyllic space. The retro interior also added to the fun, summery vibe. Whether you're after excitement, adventure or just simply a place to wind down and slow down, Idle Lake House has your needs covered.

There's an abundance of things to do in the area as it is located directly in town, so there's no shortage of places to eat and shops to explore. There's also plenty of nearby beaches and water activities you could do if you were inclined!

During our stay, we enjoyed a sauna session next door at Koho Sauna, where we took an invigorating cold plunge into the lake. We also admired sunset from the Lakes Entrance lookout and relaxed at the Lakes Entrance beach.

Overall staying at Idle was a rejuvenating experience, full of laughs, water and good times!
