What a weekend! It began with a scenic drive through the beautiful Southern Highlands, and Kangaroo Valley to our home for the weekend. The property was a dream - beautifully designed and thoughtfully set up for a perfect stay! We settled in by the fireplace with dessert and a movie. We quickly began to unwind.

My favourite part of the weekend was starting the day with a warm bubble bath looking out at the low cloud filling the valley. It was pure bliss! We then headed out the driveway on a bush walk in the local area. We found the secret waterfall and stopped to photograph plenty of the native flowers along the way before heading back to Red Rock.

We spent the sunset laughing and enjoying the views while sharing a cheeseboard before lighting the BBQ to cook dinner. We then spent the night chatting and enjoying a fire under the stars.

We stopped in at the Kangaroo Valley Markets to delay our return to reality- we picked up some treats for the fur babies at home, enjoyed a slow lunch in the courtyard by the live music, and reflected on what a perfect weekend it had been!
