Beach Getaway
Adventure in Worrowing Heights, South Coast, NSW, AU
We arrived late Friday night and had no idea what was in store for us. We woke up at sunrise on Saturday morning to the sound of birds chirping. Opening the windows, we were in awe. We were completely surrounded by kangaroos and their joeys enjoying breakfast. With a cup of tea in hand, it was one of the most blissful mornings we have ever experienced.
Worrowing Wilderness Hut is located in Jervis Bay, only a short drive from the Booderee National Park and the famous Hyam's beach. Our weekend adventure was spent dividing our time between beach hopping along Jervis Bay and wanting to spend time in our Wilderness hut watching the kangaroos.
Although we stayed in the winter, the weather couldn't have been more perfect. It was our first time visiting Jervis Bay and we have completely fallen in love. I think we've found our new favorite getaway from Sydney.

Outstanding breakfast! Jeromie got the Big Pig breakfast and I had the Blueberry Pancakes
One of the most unique cafes! A renovated Double-Decker bus turned into a great coffee house.
Spend the day swimming at one of the most beautiful beaches in the Jervis Bay Area. Located at the end of Booderee National Park, this beach had the clearest water and gorgeous views of Bowen Island, home to over 5,000 penguins!
A relaxing walk with some incredible views of the coastline!
One of the most beautiful sunrises! Worth the early wake up call. Worrowing Wilderness Hut is only a 10 minute drive from this beach!
As you head back from your weekend in Jervis Bay, stop by Berry for a wine tasting with an incredible view. Two Figs Winery had some great wines.
