Marvelous Landscapes, Wine, and Everything Devine

The Vineyard Residence was simply nothing short of spectacular. As we drove up through the Feathertop estate vineyards, we were met with the stunning sight of The Vineyard Residence on the top of the hill overlooking the estate.

It's luxurious open living space boasts a panoramic view of the Feather-Top vineyard with Mount Buffalo in its full glory right behind. Our first reaction was of simple awe at the stunning landscape.

The indoor/outdoor heated pool was an absolute game-changer and was a massive highlight for us. There really isn't anything much better than enjoying the pool with a mesmerizing backdrop with your friends, soaking up the beauty of nature in front. We made use of the outdoor pizza oven and had a wholesome pizza night, playing Italian music over the property's Sonos system which really set the mood. Oh and the kitchen sink splashback is a fish tank!

Feather Top Winery is located at the base of the property and is a must-see for sure. Grace who is the winemaker at Feathertop led a wine tasting for us and was amazing! We learned about her winemaking background, and how she stumbled on the amazing rose Prosecco - be sure to ask her how she came up with it! The property is really close to Bright, which is such a pretty alpine town that we fell in love with. We enjoyed the canyon walk along the river in town which was a nice little adventure near our stay.

I honestly couldn't recommend The Vineyard Residence enough. It's a fun and luxurious property that's best shared with friends or family who want to soak up the beauty of nature with a glass of wine always in hand. If you want to stay somewhere luxurious, enjoy some of the best landscape views on offer, and have a dip in a pool after a day of wine tasting, then this is the perfect place for you.

Porepunka pub is a vibe! It's a fantastic local pub that is clearly loved by it's locals, with a great outdoor area out the front for a bev or two. The food was great as expected, and the locals were super friendly and welcoming, even Mr Pickles got lots of pats and attention.
