Anchored is truly how this stay makes you feel. Arriving on a dark and stormy Friday night, walking into this home felt like a nice, big hug after a long week. The lounge room was cosy and warm. Kindling was set up ready for a fire to be lit, and a welcome pack with a bottle of red that we opened immediately.

We woke the next morning and had a slow Saturday. A trip to Alma’s Kombi Cafe, followed by a hike to Wreck Walk and lunch at the Currarong Bowlo. A quick nap on the couch in the sun before it was time to hit the outdoor bath. We watched the sky change hues over a cheese board before cozying up with the fire and calling it a day. A much needed, relaxing weekend away.
