Tranquil Tiny House Retreat
Adventure in Agnes Banks, Sydney, NSW, AU
6sixteen The Banks is a tiny yet beautifully designed stay that perfectly blends comfort, charm, and style. The space feels bright, open, and thoughtfully put together - ideal for a relaxing getaway. The house itself is modern and practical, with all the essentials for a seamless stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom, air-con, a cosy loft, and a light-filled living area that invites relaxation.
One of our favourite spots was the deck - perfect for enjoying a cuppa or a glass of wine while taking in the lush views of rolling farmland and the distant Blue Mountains. The highlight of our stay, however, was the private wood-fired hot tub - an absolute dream! It was the perfect place to soak away the day, especially once the fairy lights came on at night, adding a touch of magic to the peaceful surroundings. We also loved unwinding in the hammock with a good book and, as the evening cooled, roasting marshmallows by the fire.
When we weren’t soaking in the serenity of the tiny house, we ventured out to explore the nearby nature spots. Yarramundi Reserve was a lovely spot for a walk and a quiet moment by the water, while Agnes Banks Nature Reserve offered peaceful bushland trails. A visit to Hawkesbury Lookout rewarded us with sweeping views over the Nepean River and Cumberland Plain. We also treated ourselves to a delicious breakfast at The Little Olive café nearby, which was the perfect way to start the day.
Overall, our time at 6sixteen The Banks was picturesque, peaceful, and exactly what we needed to escape the rush of everyday life. It’s a truly special place to unwind, reconnect, and soak up the beauty of nature in style.
