Serene Stay at Scribbly Farm
Adventure in Southern Highlands, South Coast, NSW, AU
Scribbly Farm is more than just a getaway - it’s an experience. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the digital world, slow down, and fully embrace the beauty of nature. Nestled in a peaceful bush setting, the private dome offers the ideal balance of comfort and seclusion - whether you’re curling up inside by the fire or venturing out to explore the surrounding landscape.
From the moment we arrived, we instantly felt at home. The dome is beautifully designed and incredibly cosy, featuring a plush bed, large windows that frame the serene scenery, a modern en-suite, and a warm indoor fireplace - everything you need for a tranquil escape.
One of the most memorable parts of our stay was the night sky. The sheer number of stars was absolutely breathtaking! We also loved enjoying our own private deck with a delicious platter supplied by the wonderful hosts, Ally and Steve, whose warmth and hospitality made the stay even more special. Mornings were just as lovely, with a BBQ breakfast overlooking the bushland.
When we weren’t relaxing in the dome, we ventured out to explore the property and its surroundings. There are scenic trails leading to Nattai National Park, a hidden water spot, and plenty of local wildlife - we were even lucky enough to spot kangaroos and a friendly wombat during a sunset walk.
We also took a short trip into nearby Berrima, where we enjoyed lunch at the General Store and browsed the charming Mrs Oldbucks Pantry, filled with teas, jams, and other goodies. A hike along the Box Vale walking track also rounded out our nature-filled stay.
Our stay at Scribbly Farm was the perfect chance to truly unwind, reconnect with each other, and feel grounded in nature. It’s an intimate, peaceful escape for anyone wanting to slow down, be present, and experience the simple magic of the Australian bush.
