Fairy Wren Byron Treetop Sanctuary

We escaped up north to a little sanctuary called Fairy Wren, tucked into the quiet pocket of Suffolk Beach. From the moment we arrived, it felt like our own peaceful hideaway — spacious, calm, and just minutes from the ocean.

Mornings began with soft light spilling through the trees and a slow wander down to Suffolk Beach to watch the sunrise. Days were filled with simple pleasures — a salty surf at Tallows, a hike up to the Byron Bay lighthouse, dipping in the pool, and unwinding in the spa. Evenings were spent listening to the breeze move through the garden, grateful for a space that felt so still and restorative. The complex has a tennis court, and games room to use which we loved.

Fairy Wren truly felt like home. Close to everything, yet wonderfully private — the perfect base for exploring Byron or simply doing nothing at all. It was exactly the reset we needed.
