Diving into the weekend like...

There's a place that I've been dreaming of since the day we left, a place of golden swaying grass by the riverbanks of the Goulburn, and a pool that beckons you to dive right in...

The stillness and calm of being beneath the pool's crystal clear surface and emerging to feel the warmth of the sun before meandering to the hanging chair on the verandah. Surrounded by grapevines that embellish the beautiful four bedroom home that is Riverlea Farmhouse, I sink back into the comfort of it all while pink galahs call out to their mates from the towering gums.

As we pour a glass of red to pair with our platter of cheeses the resident white egret soars in to land beside the hot tub. Spreading its expansive wings it seemingly studies the sun drenched marshland below and takes off again into the evening. Eastern grey roos bound off into the sunset and kookaburras laugh. We pull out the cricket set for a family game on the beautifully kept lawn and watch our border collie equally relish in the open space before us.

With a full-size kitchen, pizza oven, multiple roaring fireplaces and a spacious entertaining space the farmhouse at Riverlea makes for an incredible venue for a group getaway or a celebration space for special events. Seamlessly blending luxury with timeless country atmosphere; it's a place to truly experience, more than just simply stay.
