Tiny Stay Built With Heart

Nestled on the Livingstone River in Omeo, Victoria, sat this tiny home, built with heart. From the outside, it looked like most tiny homes do long, tinny, and well… tiny! The magic always shines when you step inside though, and this one was created with so much love. You can tell every reading nook, book, and clay-made cup was considered with the guest experience in mind.

Upstairs featured a large bed overlooking the mountains of the high country, lined with quality linen and pillow comfort options. Girl loooovvvves options! A large rain style shower sat alongside a flushing toilet and hand moisturiser that smelt of earthy notes. Outside, the deck featured an outdoor bath overlooking the mountain views. You could hear the creek flowing and birds singing.

As dusk arrived, so did the overly filled bubble bath I created all for myself.
This trip was a solo one, a return home to myself, surrounded by nature. I live such a busy life, so these moments are the ones I prioritise to keep myself happy, well, and wholesome. What’s good for the soul is good for you, right? The outdoor lights glowed warmly as I sat tits deep in bubble goodness. I sunk a little lower, as did the sun.

I woke up fresh as a darn daisy! I took the dirt track into Omeo with a packed sandwich lunch and followed the creek to the local swimming hole. Love me a natural water swim. I spent a whole lotta time here and couldn’t believe how close it was to Tiny! I walked back along the creek searching for gold. You can see it sparkle in the water as the sun popped in and out from the clouds, it’s literally everywhere. I was in such a gold rush, with no rush to be.

That night, I cooked myself a wholesome salmon dish with a ginger and cashew dressing. I love to cook for myself and know I deserve meals that make me feel fulfilled on the inside, just like I did in this tiny abode. The kitchen had everything I needed, and I loved the well thought out décor. I sat still as I ate in silence, witnessing the summer storm roll into the high country. Every mouthful was noticed, just like every detail in this tiny. The care factor was really rubbing off on me.

I took it easy the next morning with a cuppa tea as I raided the books in the lounge space. The tiny smelt of summer rain and calm. I felt completely at ease with myself. Content. I gave thanks to Tiny for keeping me safe, warm, and loved. I remember feeling so grateful towards myself for making this stay away a priority in my life. I left feeling whole, with lots of love in my heart. And with that, I’m going to share it with the world.

Right outside the tiny runs Livingstone Creek which has a bike/walking track right into town. I followed the along to Livingstone Park where there's a natural flowing creek, toilets, pump track and swimming hole.
