Eco-luxe farm adventure
Adventure in Kangaroo Valley, South Coast, NSW, AU
It’s all about the details at The Dairy at Brogers End. Yes, it is set amongst the lush farmlands of Kangaroo Valley, with a bountiful veggie garden and amazing walks, but we found it was purposeful attention to detail that sets this place apart and left us inspired.
The Dairy is just that - an old dairy restored and converted into a beautiful modern cottage. And that’s just where mindful resourcefulness starts. From belts and horseshoes for curtain ties to cutlery for cupboard handles, this farm has a real focus on being eco-friendly, causing you to reflect on your own day to day impacts. You're encouraged to forage from the garden and help yourself to fresh eggs. Once done, you can feed the chickens your scraps or compost them if the chooks are full.
It's also a reminder that being considerate of our environment and repurposing used objects can go hand in hand with luxury and comfort. With its outdoor bath and rain like indoor shower, beautiful bath products, marble bench tops and basins, al-fresco dining area covered in meandering wisteria, beautiful French doors, warming fireplace and snuggly bamboo linen, it makes for a special eco-luxe experience.

Things We Did
- Waterfall
- Lookout
- Swim
- Hike

Nellie's Glen is a beautiful bushland swimming hole and waterfall in the Budderoo National Park.
I've never regretted getting up to watch the sun rise. What's not to love about the peacefulness of this time of day?
A family that hikes together stays together. And when that hike includes the amazing Fitzroy Waterfall, it's even better!
While we weren't fortunate to enjoy swimming weather, this place is on my list to return to in summer!
We explored the beautiful Carrington Falls located in Budderoo National Park. Waterfalls abound in this part of the world!
Brogers End has many trails to explore. From riverside walks and swimming holes to hilltops with a sunset view. There is no need to even leave the property in order to get your adventure fix!
